Internships

Are you ready for a first taste of working life? Lay the foundations for your future career with a four to six-month internship at Axpo. You will support our specialists in day-to-day business and actively work on projects. This will give you an exciting insight into the multifaceted world of energy. 

Your assignment:

  • Work on a defined project in one of our business units: Production and Distribution, Trading and Sales and Group Functions
  • With a dedicated contact at Axpo, you’ll enjoy continuous support from an expert in the field
  • Benefit from valuable practical experience in a field of your choice

 

Our requirements:

  • We’re interested in all fields of study but especially: mathematics, physics, computer science, economics and engineering
  • You have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor degree
  • You’re highly committed, reliable, willing to learn and passionate about the energy industry
  • You inspire others with great ideas and an innovative mindset

Traineeship

Each year, university graduates from different fields of study are given the opportunity to participate in our tailored trainee programme. The traineeship gives participants interesting insights into the energy industry and allows them to gain valuable work experience through challenging project tasks and active participation in daily business. Over an 18 month period, trainees prepare for their professional future in a hands-on way.

Your path to an ideal career start

The trainee recruitment process starts each year in March/April and October and the interviews are conducted in the following month. In a further step, suitable candidates are invited to a Selection Day, in which they will get in touch with possible future supervisors and a mentor (date will be announced during the recruitment process).
