Axpo extends energy supply and market access agreement with Valda Energy

Axpo and Valda Energy, a specialist energy supplier to UK small businesses, have announced a three-year extension to their existing Wholesale Energy Agreement.

The two businesses first partnered in 2019 and this latest extension demonstrates Axpo’s continued confidence in Valda Energy, further consolidating its position in the British energy market.

Axpo UK Managing Director Steven McCarthy said: “We’re delighted to confirm the continuation of our successful relationship with Valda Energy. Axpo’s core values of reliability, sustainability and innovation closely match Valda’s own operational ethos. The extension of this partnership is further evidence of Axpo’s commitment to its B2B business activity in the UK energy market.”

Valda Energy CEO Steve James said: “This is very positive news for Valda Energy and our customers, providing stability and certainty as we continue to expand our operations. Valda Energy strives to be the energy provider of choice for small businesses and this partnership allows us to continue to offer competitive pricing certainty, alongside our outstanding customer service and digital-first solutions.”

Valda has an experienced and entrepreneurial senior leadership team with a successful track record in the sector. Many of the team have been in the industry since its deregulation in 1997.
