Axpo Italia comes first in customer orientation survey

According to a recent survey, Axpo Italia has the highest response index to customer expectations in Italy’s energy market. The Italian subsidiary of Axpo continues to support its customers in the post-pandemic restart phase with new initiatives, and launched a useful traffic light system.

When it comes to customer orientation, Axpo Italia is Italy’s best energy provider. This excellent result emerged from a recent survey conducted by international research company Nielsen, where Axpo Italia reached a 90% rating. According to the data collected, Axpo Italia ranked number 1 in terms of customer orientation and the ability to meet customer expectations and is significantly higher than the market average in Italy.

Safety First - Traffic light system floor signage to demonstrate customer proximity

Continuing its commitment as a partner to its customers, Axpo Italia recently launched a Safety First initiative to support the restart of customers’ business activities. Axpo’s retail customers around Italy can order so-called “Safety Pois” kits free of charge. The kits provide retailers with traffic light coloured floor stickers to place on the floor of shops and commercial business premises aimed at helping retailers to manage the flow of people, movement and distance between customers and respecting the national and regional laws and regulations in Italy, for social distancing.

The floor stickers are large circles in traffic light colours - red, yellow and green, are stuck at least one meter away from each other on the floor. Only one person at a time can stand on a floor sticker, observing the social distance of at least 1 meter.

"We are finally in the post Covid-19 restart phase. Many of our customers, especially those who run commercial businesses, will have to take charge and be responsible for the safety procedures and rules imposed by national and regional laws and regulations for persons entering shops and other commercial premises. A complex and costly process that will inevitably affect revenues. To accompany them in their recovery post the Lockdown, we hope that they will find the traffic light system useful to manage the customer visits to their premises. It’s a concrete and practical tool aimed at helping our customers manage their daily activities in a safe way," comments Simone Demarchi, CEO of Axpo Italia.
