The AlpinSolar plant is nearing completion: At the end of July, the last remaining solar board was mounted to the plant at 2,500 metres. After installation of the last cables, the plant will begin producing 3.3 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year. Some impressions of this milestone below.

The last solar board has found its place in the solar plant. The board measures over 40 square metres and is one of 232 boards that adorn the Muttsee dam at 2 500 metres above sea level.
