Under development Lålax Vind

Lålax Vind windfarm, which was acquired by Axpo in October 2023, is located in the municipality of Vörå, in Western Finland. The southern boarder of the project area is located approximately 4 km north of the center of Vörå.

The construction works are currently ongoing for the four-turbine wind farm. The turbines have a rotor diameter of 162 m, hub height of 134 m and tip height of 215m. The wind farm, with an installed capacity of 25 MW, will produce around 70,000,000 kilowatt hours of renewable electricity a year, which corresponds to the electricity needs of around 17,500 four-person households.

Commissioning of the wind farm is planned for the end of 2025.
