Axpo Nordic is based in Oslo and was established in 2003. Over 20 years later we are one of the largest traders on the Nordic and Baltic markets. 

The team in Oslo is made up of 25 industry experts with extensive experience from trading and origination in the Nordic region and Europe. In Oslo we have a dedicated trading desk who works closely with the analysis teams across Axpo. Our risk management team is a key part our team. Risk management is part of our corporate culture – a process that runs through the entire organisation and involves each member of staff. The goal is to find the best combination of risk and return, regardless of whether these are credit, market or operational risks. In order to achieve the targeted returns, Axpo takes calculated risks each day that are skillfully optimized and constantly monitored.

Axpo Sverige is based in Malmö with 18 employees. We have been an independent supplier of advanced portfolio management, hedging and balance responsibility for Swedish retailers, energy-intensive industries and producers since 1996. The core competences of Axpo in Sweden include risk management, long term transactions for both wind investors and industrials, GoOs, green certificates, biogas and many other major energy related products. We take pride in being a leader in our markets and serving our customers not only with standardised products but also with the development of structured products and innovative services.

Axpo's office in Finland was established in 2009 in order to strengthen Axpo's market presence in the eastern parts of the Nordic region. From its office in the heart of Helsinki, Axpo Finland offers standard and structured products as well as other commodity related products.
