Volkswind Producing clean energy with wind
Volkswind, with its headquarters in Ganderkesee near Bremen is a specialist in the field of wind energy. The company plans, builds and operates wind farms throughout Europe together with its holding company Axpo.
Volkswind was founded in 1993 and has been part of the Axpo Group since 2015.
Since its foundation, the company has realised 80 wind farms with a total installed capacity of around 1,500 MW. The company is one of the pioneers in the field of renewable energies.
