As of the summer of 2015, Volkswind GmbH has become a proud 100% subsidiary of Axpo. This addition has allowed Axpo to bring its extensive expertise to the planning, project management, and construction of wind farms, further strengthening our commitment to renewable energy solutions.

Additionally, our subsidiary, Urbasolar, headquartered in Montpellier, France, is dedicated to the planning, construction, and operation of solar power systems. Since 2019, Urbasolar has been a strategic platform for Axpo's expansion in the solar energy sector.
