19.03.2025 - At their Annual General Meeting, the shareholders of Kraftwerke Linth-Limmern AG (KLL) approved the report and annual accounts for the 2023/24 financial year. During the reporting period, KLL once again made a substantial contribution to Switzerland's electricity supply.
In the 2023/24 financial year, the KLL power plants at Muttsee, Limmern, Hintersand and Tierfed produced around 1.6 billion kilowatt hours. This corresponds to the electricity consumption of around 410,000 four-person households.
The Annual General Meeting has confirmed the members of the Board of Directors Kaspar Becker, Jörg Huwyler (Chairman), Viktor Lir, Michael Schärli and Hans-Peter Zehnder (Vice Chairman) in their posts. Andrea Bettiga did not stand for re-election due to his upcoming resignation from the cantonal government of Glarus; the Annual General Meeting elected cantonal councillor Thomas Tschudi as his successor. The shareholders approved the payment of a dividend of 1.5 per cent (previous year: 2 per cent) of the share capital of CHF 350 million.
Kraftwerke Linth-Limmern AG is a partner plant of Axpo and the Canton of Glarus. Axpo holds 85 per cent of the shares, and the Canton of Glarus holds 15 per cent.
