As a leading energy seller in Poland, we are making a significant contribution to successfully shaping the future on the market, but also around us. We have been operating in Poland for almost 25 years, growing year by year in terms of the number of customers, employees and also new energy solutions that have never been seen on the Polish market before.
Sustainability is part of our DNA. In our daily work, we add a contribution to the energy transition. We operate based on the four pillars of caring for the planet, real impact of employees, ethical principles without bureaucracy and continuous development in cooperation with new technologies. This is the only way we can offer sustainable energy solutions to our customers, and produce zero-carbon electricity.
First in Poland with green energy fee-free
In 2015, in cooperation with the Polish Wind Energy Association, we launched a program to promote clean energy and our customers received energy from us with guarantees of origin. Since then, green energy has become a permanent part of Axpo's offer. In 2020, we were the first in Poland to offer only green energy as a standard to our customers without additional fees or hidden costs.
And to this day, small and medium-sized companies that are part of Axpo's customer are guaranteed that the energy they use is fully covered by guarantees of origin or other certificates certifying the generation of energy from renewable sources.

Our customers receive a “Green Energy from Axpo” certificate and have access to promotional materials that help increase the company's competitiveness and visibility. In this way, they can convey to their customers that they are part of the energy transition.

Green energy in a company builds its competitive advantage.
The IBRiS report “Green Social Potential. Poland and Central and Eastern Europe” shows that Poles are enthusiastic about green energy. As many as 78% (the highest percentage among all countries surveyed) believe that RES has the most positive impact on environmental and climate protection. Consumers are increasingly demanding social responsibility and a pro-environmental attitude from companies. A company's use of green energy exclusively, therefore, will be recognized and appreciated by current and potential customers.
Expand the country with RES power plants
We are also one of the largest independent off-takers of renewable energy in Poland. At this point, we serve nearly 23% of the domestic wind power market and almost 10% of the solar market.
Through our additional company, we are spreading the use of solar energy in Poland. We lease land with poor soil and wasteland from farmers for photovoltaic farms, and install panels on customers' infrastructure and land.

We support the promotion of energy transition
We work with industry organizations focused on gathering best practices in the energy market. We share our knowledge and experience in energy purchases and sales, as well as innovative energy solutions that support the sustainable development of companies in the industry. We are involved in activities implemented by the Society for Energy Trading and the Polish Wind Energy Association.
