On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Polish entrepreneurship, the weekly magazine ‘Wprost’ ranked the largest companies in each industry. The rankings were based on three parameters: revenues in 2022, net profit in 2022, and revenue growth from 2021 to 2022.
As shown in the ranking prepared by the editorial team, the results of which were published in July 2024, the largest independent energy seller in Poland is Axpo.

In 2023, Axpo Polska ranked 180th in the prestigious Coface and Forbes ranking of 500 companies from Central and Eastern Europe with the highest revenues in 2022.
The ranking was prepared to answer the question of how Russia’s invasion of Ukraine impacted business in the Central and Eastern European region. According to the authors of the ranking, Europe, including Poland, proved to be quite resilient to the effects of the war. As many as 166 companies in the ranking are Polish companies.
Axpo Polska ranked 180th (68th if counting only Polish companies) with a turnover of 1,722 million euros.
In 2024, the Axpo Group once again secured leading positions in the Energy Risk Commodity Rankings. Moreover, this year we achieved first place in the “Power Dealer” category in Central and Eastern Europe, i.e., in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
The Energy Risk Commodity Rankings is the largest poll of its kind concerning energy and commodity trading. It has been conducted for over 25 years. Market participants and clients vote in the ranking for their preferred brokers and dealers from the entire commodity complex and evaluate the quality of the products and services they receive.
