Here, you can learn more about Axpo Iberia and the Axpo Group by downloading the latest Non-Financial Information Statement (EINF), the 2022/23 Sustainability Report, and other relevant guidelines, such as our policy on child labour in the supply chain.

Non-Financial Information Statement (NFIS)

The NFIS is a report where companies disclose their practices and strategies in areas such as the environment, social responsibility, and corporate governance (ESG criteria).

Axpo Iberia’s EINF for the 2023 fiscal year has been prepared under Law 11/2018 (this text is only available in Spanish) and the GRI standards (Global Reporting Initiative standards). It is publicly available and reflects our commitment to transparency, sustainability, and continuous improvement in critical areas like environmental and personnel management, human rights, anti-corruption efforts, and our contribution to society.

Environmental Management

At Axpo Iberia, we mainly commercialise gas, electricity, biomethane, solar energy solutions, and other renewable energies such as wind and biomass. This commercial activity poses no environmental risk.

100% of our corporate electricity consumption comes from renewable energy sources. Additionally, as a subject of regulation, we make an annual contribution to the National Energy Efficiency Fund (FNEE in Spanish) and are developing various projects under the Energy Savings Certificates (ESC) system.

Personnel Management

Through our Human Resources department, we’ve implemented various policies to ensure equal opportunities, including fairness in promotions, mandatory training on harassment prevention and unconscious bias, talent programmes focused on female employees, interim supplements, and flexible working hours.

With over 500 employees from over 20 nationalities, Axpo Iberia has created a diverse and inclusive working environment fostering collaboration and enrichment. In 2024, we were recognised as one of Spain's Best Companies to Work for.

Commitment to Human Rights

We promote a culture of mutual respect, tolerance, and education, and we do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or any form of prejudice against our employees from any source.

Corruption and Bribery

Axpo Iberia has a team responsible for preventing criminal offences, which oversees and controls the company's operations.

The Axpo Code of Conduct prohibits all forms of corruption, bribery, illegal granting of advantages, or any other illegal privileges, as well as participation in such activities.

Society

At Axpo Iberia, we promote the sustainable development of local communities and contribute to improving the quality of life of the people around us.

We demonstrate our firm commitment to social sustainability through job creation, talent retention, partnerships with universities in Madrid and Jerez (Spain), collaboration with the Valdemingómez Technology Park (owned by the Madrid City Council), the requirements we impose on all our suppliers, donations, sponsorships, and more.
