Axpo Polska and Akuo sign PPA agreement for one of the largest wind farms in Silesia

Axpo Polska has signed a PPA with Akuo for the offtake of energy from a wind farm in Poland’s Silesia region. The plant, located in Wielowieś, has a total installed capacity of 66 MW and is expected to produce around 220 GWh of green energy a year.

In one of the largest renewable energy offtake deals in Poland, Axpo bought all the electricity generated by RWE in the country. RWE’s wind farms and solar plants across Poland have a combined installed capacity of 628MW and produce approximately 1500 GWh of electricity annually.

Axpo to purchase energy from DIF Capital Partners’ wind farms in Poland

Axpo Polska has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) for the offtake of energy from six wind farms in Poland owned by DIF Capital Partners, it was announced today. With a total installed capacity of 171 MW, the facilities will produce an estimated 500 GWh of green electricity a year. The PPA provides for spot market settlements, purchase of guarantees of origin, and the provision of balancing services.

Axpo and Heidelberg Materials Polska extend cooperation on power purchase

Axpo Polska has signed a new power sales contract with Heidelberg Materials Polska, a leader in the Polish cement market and one of the country’s largest producers of ready-mixed concrete and aggregates, it was announced today. The deal covers the purchase of electricity for all Heidelberg’s Materials concern production sites in Poland, which includes, among others, one of the Górażdże facilities – the largest cement plant in Europe.

Axpo Polska provides route to market for CPPA between Nestlé Polska and GoldenPeaks Capital

Axpo Polska has created a unique balancing service agreement for a CPPA between Nestlé Polska and GoldenPeaks Capital. Under the corporate power purchase agreement, photovoltaic farm operator GoldenPeaks Capital supplies around 44 GWh a year of green energy to seven Nestlé factories in Poland, helping the manufacturer achieve net zero emissions by 2050.

Energix Group, one of Israel's largest renewable energy companies, has extended its cooperation with Axpo Poland through 12-year power purchase agreements. Covering the purchase of all electricity generated by the five Energix wind farms operating in Poland, the PPAs enable Axpo to continue offering end users with renewable energy through to 2034.
